What is the booking and cancellation procedure for Wine & Wallop?

Places are bookable through the booking page, and once they're gone they're gone.  Class will be streamed online, and you are more than welcome to join us that way if you'd prefer.  If you cannot attend the class I am unable to offer refunds, however you are able to pass the place on to a friend.  If you have a class pass you are able to cancel your booking via the Wix ap, and provided this is done more than 12hrs before the class you will not lose the credit.  If you are unable to attend in person but wish to do the practice from home, let me know and I can send you a link

Will you be providing any equipment for classes at Wallop?

Alas I do not, but I do have emergency mats at home, message me an hour before if you know you'll need one.  Please feel free to bring along any props you may like to use.

I'm practising online with you, what do I need to know?

Excited to have on board! Clear an area so you won't knock into anything and pop your mat/towel down.  You may want a block or book for support in certain postures, a big cushion for Yin-ing and something warm for svasana in case you get cold.  Lycra and leg warmers optional, but most definitely encouraged.

I'm booked on to a Zoom class and can't make it, what can I do?

I am happy to record the class for you and make it available for 48hrs after the session.  Please email me once you've booked so I know to record.

What is your policy on cultural sensitivity/appropriation in class?

I'm not bendy, is yoga for me?

I am well aware that as Yoga teachers we are borrowing from the people of India and Hindu practices, along with integrating traditions from the Mayan people as taught to me by The Yoga People team.  When you borrow something, it is my opinion that you take care of it better than if it was your own; and that is my intention with material I teach.  I will keep educating myself on the history and issues surrounding Yoga and spirituality.  I will continue to teach only what I understand.  If you have an interest on aspects of the practice I seldom cover, I will happily point you in the direction of an appropriate teacher.  Accountability is important to growth and becoming better;  if you notice something in class that you feel I could improve on to better honour Yoga's heritage or be a better ally, please feel free to get in touch.

Well friend, I am seldom clean before I get into the shower.  Flexibility and strength are not prerequisites for taking a class.  And the more you do something, the better you become.  So if you are looking for more movement in the body, this is the practice for you.  Remember, you don't run a marathon on your first light jog, so if you're not wrapping your leg behind your head on day 1 don't worry. Yoga is for everyone, I cannot stress this enough.  There will be something in the practice and teacher that resonates with you.  If I am not that teacher, please keep practising.  Reach out and let me know what you're looking for as I may be able to help you find them. But practice, always practice.
